Professor Laura Serrant has been named as the new chair of the chief nursing officer for England’s black and minority ethnic strategic advisory group. She will take over the role from outgoing chair Dr Joan Myers, who has led the BME advisory group since 2012.
Professor Serrant joins the advisory group at a time when its structure is expanding to align more closely with the regional chief nursing officers within NHS England.
