In Cold Blood – free film screening by Rare Giants
The Void, level 1, Owen building
Join us for a special anniversary film screening organised by local cinema and arts organisation, Rare Giants. Truman Capote’s 1967 best seller, a breakthrough narrative account of real-life crime and punishment, became an equally chilling film in the hands of writer-director Richard Brooks. Brooks brings a detached, documentary-like starkness to this uncompromising view of an American tragedy and its aftermath.
