Connect: with other mature students

Connect with other mature students at the drop in advice service to all potential and current mature students at Student Support Services in Heart of the Campus every Wednesday in October.
Mature student drop in Oct2016
Come along if you are (or soon will be) one of our many mature students and would like to speak to someone about
  • the support available to mature students at Sheffield Hallam
  • how to connect with other mature students
  • how to make the most of University life as a mature student
The drop in is first come, first served –  there’s no need to book, just come along between 1pm and 4pm.
Want to know more? Take a look at our mature student pages or read our mature student case studies for more useful information and top tips for mature students.
This is just one of the ways to take the Healthy Hallam challenge: ‘Connect’ : Evidence suggests that social relationships are critical for promoting wellbeing and for acting as a buffer against mental ill health. This seems to be the case for people across all ages. Feeling close to, and valued, by other people is a fundamental human need and one that contributes to feeling well in the world.
