York is very popular with local and international tourists as it is one of the UK’s most historic cities. Among its many attractions are the famous famous York Castle Museum and York Minster. There is also the huge National Railway Museum which is free and contains a collection of over 100 trains. Tickets cost £12 and must be bought in advance from the Student Services Centre, level 5, Owen building.
