Snooker’s greatest tournament returns to the Crucible in Sheffield from the 16th of April, and you can get involved!

The BBC will be coming to town and bring a whole host of events and activities, so even if you’re not into the snooker, there’s still plenty to do.

BBC Get Inspired will be laying on a range of free sporting activities in and around the Winter Garden from Friday, 1 May – Monday, 4 May, including a climbing wall and a virtual cycle of the Tour de Yorkshire.

The main event though is definitely the high-quality, exciting snooker that’s on show. You can either get tickets for the Crucible and watch all the action live on the baize or follow it on the big screens in Tudor Square, cheering on your favourite player.
