The nominations have been received, the votes have been cast and counted and we’re very pleased to announce that we can tell you the winners of the Inspirational Student Awards 2016!
Kwong Hoi Ling from our partnership institution SHAPE – the School for Higher and Professional Education in Hong Kong is nominated in the Student Voice category:
“As the class rep, she dedicates herself to perform the role as the bridge among the students and tutors. She helped to convey feedback and suggestions to promote the spirit of the class so that the class-mates were motivated to share their experience and academic insight with each other.”
Wong Wing Pan, also from SHAPE win the Inspirational Student Award in the ‘Celebrating and Embracing Diversity and Culture’ category:
“During his study, in the Higher Diploma and the university level as well, he has joined many organisations to provide community services to other people in need in many countries. He brought a group of students from Eastern Europe to meet with our local students. Both parties spent a very happy and fruitful day together with a better understanding of each other’s cultures and customs.”
A massive congratulations to all of our winners and nominees, we love to hear about the achievements of our students in our partnerships across the world! If you know any inspirational colleagues or students where you study, then keep an eye out for the nominations next year and they could be one of our winners featured.
