Organise a performance or event for SHU Fest!

Have you got a talent? Can you sing, dance or play an instrument? Want to organise an event?

We are looking for students and staff to get involved in SHU Fest, a massive week-long festival from 29 February to 6 March.

Would you like some visa advice?
If yes, then book a place on our Working in the UK after studies workshop.

We will look at all the possible visa routes for international graduates into full time work including:

• Tier 2 Scheme
• Tier 1 graduate entrepreneur
• Tier 5

The workshop will also focus on how to improve your employability and how you can make the most out of your time at Sheffield Hallam University. We will explain the visa rules and how to maximise your chances of success.

The next workshops will take place in the Careers and Employability Centre (unless otherwise stated):

SHU GoGlobal Fair – 24 September 2015

There are so many exciting projects you can get involved with at Sheffield Hallam University.  To showcase these projects we are organising a SHU GoGlobal fair where you can talk to people who have taken part.

Contributors include students who have been involved with,

–          Setting up a social enterprise
–          Bringing TEDx to Sheffield Hallam University
–          Erasmus exchanges abroad
–          Campus jobs
–          Balloon Kenya project
–          Culture Connect
–          Setting up a Students’ Union society

There will be a number of stalls and a series of talks on the day.  If you are interested in getting involved as a contributor please contact Andrew Bromley at a.bromley@shu.ac.uk

Summer of Fun in Sheffield

Summer Of Fun Booklet 2015 A5 v5_Page_01We have organised over 50 events, trips and activities this summer which will help you explore the UK and the local area.  Our day trips are open to all current students and include visits to  York, Cambridge, Newcastle and the beautiful seaside village of Whitby.  Most of the trips are only £10 and can be bought from the Hubs.

We have also organised a number of free ‘explore Sheffield’ events which will help you meet new friends and discover new places in the City.

All activities are in the ‘Summer Of Fun’ booklet which is available from Student Services Centre on level 5 of the Owen Building.
