Sheffield is one of England’s greenest cities with parts of the Peak District National Park within its boundary. Celebrated country houses like Chatsworth, Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall reflect a long and proud history. It has more trees per person than any other city in Europe.
Culturally there is an eclectic music scene with new bands emerging and Tramlines festival every summer. Sheffield DocFest hosts international films and world-renowned experts, and Off the Shelf literary festival in October showcases literary talent with big names and emerging authors participating. The Crucible and Lyceum theatres host touring plays as well as the World Snooker Championships.
Little Kelham and a Kelham Island offers sustainable housing and the buzz of a growing community. There are more micro-breweries springing up than anywhere else in England as well as museums, galleries and theatres. There’s everything from football to ice hockey, rugby to swimming.
It is a city of great opportunity, no matter if you live here, work here or come along for the 2020 15th Global Branding conference at Sheffield Hallam University. We look forward to showing you around!
