Various Building Power Shut-down at Collegiate – Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 July

As part of the Estates long term maintenance plan we are upgrading the existing electrical distribution within the Main Building at Collegiate Campus.

Following on from the initial shut down we carried out on 8 June, a further power shutdown has been agreed upon in order to complete the initial works.

On Saturday 13 July from 6am until 8pm Sunday 14 July, the following areas or buildings will be without power for the duration of the shutdown.

• Main Hall
• Pearson
• 48 Collegiate Crescent (Gate House)
• Collegiate Library (As an alternative, the Adsetts Library will be open as usual)
• Main Building Boiler house

Please bear in mind that due to the power shut-down any perishable items located in the fridges will need to be cleared out before the evening of Friday 12 July so not to pose a hazard.
