The handover of the new Heart of the Campus on Friday 22nd August brings an end to construction and means it is now ready for Sheffield Hallam staff, students and visitors to use.
Senior Sheffield Hallam University staff joined representatives from GRAHAM Construction and project manager Turner & Townsend for a tour of the new site.
“We’re delighted with our new Heart of the Campus development which has been handed over to schedule following a great working relationship between the University Estates team and GRAHAM as main contractor. This new facility will make a real difference to the experience of staff and students based at Collegiate Campus and is a stunning addition to our campus” Director of Estates and Facilities, Mark Swales.
Now the handover is complete, staff are preparing to move into Heart of the Campus with services opening between the 1st and 15th September.
