With the Heart of the Campus redevelopment really beginning to take shape, we took some of our University staff on a tour of the impressive new building.
Earlier this week, we gave representatives of the Faculty of Development and Society and the Business Services Team within the Facilities Directorate a taster of the innovative future spaces taking shape within the £27 Heart of the Campus complex.
The group, led by Project Manager Brian Badger, explored all three storeys of the new development highlights included the moot court, the 220 seater lecture theatre, psychology labs, spaces for teaching and learning, student services areas, staff spaces, catering and social spaces and the impressive ceilings and feature staircases.
The new three storey development will dramatically improve the experience of all staff and students based at the campus; it will also have a big impact on our visitors by providing inspiring spaces for open days and other events.
