e-processes

shutterstock_167099177The e-processes focus groups will try and understand what staff currently do, and to see if there is anything that can reduce our reliance on paper to enable the use of mobile technology.
We’ll be discussing the following questions in the group sessions – if you aren’t able to attend or would like to provide your answers online, you can do this using google docs.
1. What processes do you do that use a lot of paper?
2. How much paperwork do we retain?  How long do we keep it for? Do we need to?
3. Which processes are time consuming?
4. Which processes contain duplication?
5. Which manual or paper based processes should be handled electronically?
6. What don’t you see any benefit in doing?  What do you think you shouldn’t do any more?  What could you stop doing?
7. What do you think you should be doing that you don’t do now?  Can the existing system do that?
8. What works well?
9. What Management Information (reports) do we produce?  Are there reports produced that aren’t used?
10. What information from the processes would be useful?
