An independent report summarising the findings from the OfS Addressing Barriers to Student Success programme has been published. Between March 2017 and October 2019, the £7.5 million programme funded 17 projects across the country, focusing on addressing gaps in educational and employment outcomes of students from the lowest socioeconomic backgrounds and for black, Asian and minority ethnic students by supporting student belonging and engagement with higher education, and consequently participation, retention and attainment.

Teaching in the Spotlight: What is the Future for HE Curricula? With particular reference to this year, this virtual conference will explore where we go from here in terms of teaching and learning in HE, and how will we deliver the curricula of the future. Calls for papers on the conference's seven thematic areas are now open until 22 January 2021.
