SHU Student Wellbeing is offering the following rolling workshops for students throughout the academic year (workshops which are taking place in January are highlighted)

  • Stress management (part 1) – Tuesday 21 January
  • Settling in to uni life – Tuesday 28 January
  • Mindfulness: an introduction for students
  • Introduction to assertiveness
  • How to stop putting things off
  • Maximising feedback.

Regular meditation sessions are also running. In addition to meditation at City every Wednesday, 1:00 – 1.30pm, (Multifaith Centre, Owen Level 2), meditation sessions are now being offered at Collegiate Campus, which will run fortnightly starting from Wednesday 22nd January, 1:00 -1.30pm, Oaklands 201. Sessions are free and open to staff and students. There’s no need to book, just turn up.
