Applications for free student places are now closed.
We’ve had a lot of interest, and are looking forward to letting
all successful applicants know by close of Friday (8th) afternoon
………………………………………………….
- Are you a full or part time student in Higher Education?
- Do you think it’s important that social media is used for learning at university?
- Are you building your own learning communities outside of, or as a part of your studies?
- Would you like to share your perspectives and thoughts with teaching staff nationwide?
- Would you like to hear about the latest research into social media for learning in HE?
The 3rd conference on Social Media for Learning in Higher Education is being held at Sheffield Hallam University on Tuesday 19 December 2017. There are a number of students involved in delivering papers and workshops, and to further ensure that students are an integral part of this conference, offering opinions, thoughts and viewpoints, we are making a number of free places available. This year there are:
10 free places for students of any discipline or level, from ANY Higher Education institution
AND
10 free places for students of any discipline or level from Sheffield Hallam University
In exchange, all we ask is that you engage with the conference, tweet a bit, and maybe contribute a blog post of your views as a student.
We’ll let the successful applicants know by close of Friday 8th December. The planning group will review all responses and make our decisions based on what you tell us.
Please note that the free conference place does NOT include travel, accommodation or free entry to the pre-conference social, you will need to make your own arrangements for these.
