This guide is intended to help staff located in, and using, the Head Post Office following its opening in January 2016 by providing operational and logistic information for users. Established in 1843, the Sheffield School of Art was originally created to provide skilled designers from the artisan class to support Britain’s industry in its fight against overseas competition. In January 2016, we open a new home for our art and design students in the stunning grade II listed building known to generations of Sheffielders as the Head Post Office.
