The Department of Media Arts and Communication provides courses, undertakes research and develops industry links from across the media industries. Our expertise ranges from public relations and broadcast journalism to animation and games design.
For 40 years our staff and students have been exploring how people communicate. Our courses in Digital Media Production, Film and Media Production, Photography, Media, PR and Journalism are designed to meet the employment goals of our students and are regularly updated for today’s communication and media careers. We have industry-standard facilities with software, sound and visual recording equipment along with broadcast and editing suites which allow students to produce live as they would in the working world.
This is a showcase of work from our Digital Media Production BA course from our 2020 cohort. We had some fantastic work this year, with a big variety of types of media produced.
It is a big shame we did not get to showcase this is the way we intended to, but we hope you enjoy this online version for now and we hope to be back next year with a bumper degree show from 2020/2021!!
