Take the opportunity to explore some of Sheffield’s most interesting places on foot and enjoy the fresh air and Christmas atmosphere.
The Students’ Union have produced day tripper guides which include directions and routes to some of the most popular tourist attractions in the City Centre including Weston Park Museum, Botanical Gardens and Heeley City Farm. The day tripper packs also contain information for places further afield such as the stunning Ladybower Reservoir and the famous Our Cow Molly Farm shop.
Produced by Sheffield City Council this site has suggested walks for many districts in the City including the inner city centre. It also features information about the ‘Lord Mayors Walk’ which starts at Sheffield Town Hall and takes in some of the most historic sites on the outskirts of Sheffield including the oldest football ground in the world.

This independent website is full of short walks within the City Centre, go on a journey exploring the medieval streets of Sheffield, or a trail which takes in the City’s Georgian buildings.
