Global Research Internship – Canada

The Globalink Research Internship, provides a 12-week research project at Canadian universities for high-achieving senior undergraduates from around the world and is accepting student applications starting in early August 2020.

Starting in May 2021, approved students will travel to Canada, where they’ll work with a faculty supervisor and other researchers at their host universities. You will receive:

  • Stipend for living expenses
  • Professional development workshops
  • Local Globalink Mentors

Students from all academic disciplines are welcome to apply. Project outlines will be available prior to call for applications.

If you are interested in being nominated for this unique undergraduate research opportunity, please email your Programme Lead at Sheffield Hallam University in order to be nominated, no later than 6th August 2020. Email your Student ID, Name, and SHU course title to r.mills@shu.ac.uk . We will confirm when your nomination has been received, and after 11th August we will email you to advise whether your nomination has been accepted and whether you can apply in full for the programme.

In the mean time you may wish to start preparing your application now — all requirements are listed on the page’s “Student Information” tab.

The deadline for full applications, will be confirmed if your nomination is successful.
