FINANCE INDABA
The Botswana Accountancy College Finance and Banking Society is on a mission to build meaningful partnerships with financial institutions, for the purpose of promoting learning while continuously releasing the best graduates into the market. Many students struggle with the ability to present well written, concise and professional CVs, as well as building personal branding, career development and emotional intelligence.
The Finance and Banking Society launched their first ever seminar, Finance Indaba, on the 18th October 2019. The purpose of Finance Indaba was to optimise on all missing points that have been noticed in graduates seeking employment in the finance industry and prepare their next step in their finance career.
The areas covered were CV Writing, Interview Preparation tips, Personal Branding, Finance Workplace Etiquette, Career Development in the Finance Sector and Mentoring. Therefore, it provided International Finance Banking students with all the necessary tools that will make them stand out from the competition and to develop career skills that will distinguish them in the workplace.
