Forum on the Fringe
Michael Clark and Danny Hannah have launched the second year of the Forum on the Fringe event programme, which is now open to all staff! The first two events take place in October 2018.
The simple idea is to offer up some short events, which draw more of us into the strategy implementation conversation, and provoke some innovative thinking and ideas.Inspired by Edinburgh’s annual festival, the events are “on the fringe”, and, like the Edinburgh Fringe it is an unofficial, informal and low cost endeavour! The principles behind the approach are to:
- Build new connections and networks
- Challenge traditional mind-sets and spark innovative thinking
- “Pan for gold”, seeking new ideas that can be tested and used to advance the University Strategy.
