Lab Access
The lab will be open to prospective and funded research. Please send us a project outline so we can assess suitability.
The ECM is a class 4 laser controlled area and as such access will be restricted to trained staff and students. ECM will follow MERI lab safety regulations and implements additional regulations specific to the ECMÂ lab.
Minimum requirements for staff and students:
- MERI lab safety awareness course or equivalent
- ECM lab induction
- Application specific training
- Laser safety awareness course (Public Health England or equivalent) for working on the laser systems and for lab access during work with laser systems
Specific additional training will be offered by ECM as required.
