Sector News: Office for Students: Consultation on Access and Participation

The Office for Students (OfS) has launched a consultation on its approach to access and participation, as it develops a new strategy to improve equality of opportunity in access, student success and progression for groups of students that are currently underrepresented in English higher education.

The consultation is open until noon on 12th October and responses are invited from anyone with an interest in the subject in English higher education, via an online survey at: https://survey.officeforstudents.org.uk/s/accessparticipation/

Also in WonkHE, David Kernohan, Associate Editor, analyses the consultation documents and explains why this is the biggest change in the realm of widening access since the 2004 genesis of the Office for Fair Access (OFFA).
