Business & Human Resource Management degree course

The placements run between  January   through to the 1st May, typically for 120 hours over an 8 week period and can be delivered virtually if required. The students develop a variety of skills during their studies that they can apply to your organisation including; research, problem-solving, data analysis and the understanding of human behaviour. They can bring the latest thinking to your projects with access to academic journals, survey and data analysis tools and specialist equipment.

Proposed types of activity/project briefs:

The list below shows some examples but is by no means exhaustive and can be developed to meet your organisation needs:

  • a more suitable reward strategy
  • greater retention of younger employees
  • impact reports COVID 19
  • recruitment materials to attract more African Asian Minority Groups (AAMG, previously BAME) applicants
  • presentation about unconscious bias in the workplace
  • scoping of whether apprenticeships might be useful to the organisation
  • exploration of the benefits of coaching and mentoring to the organisation
  • report on the aspects of the HR offer that might be moved online
  • digital operations feasibility study
  • report on competitive threats and opportunities
  • scoping of a new product or service
  • identification of new revenue streams
  • report on the costs of relocating
  • creation of a digital marketing plan
