HDA Delivery

The delivery of Apprenticeships needs to account for the employment demands on the apprentice and the needs of employers in the local, or national market. Employers must appreciate that attendance is compulsory and understand the delivery pattern. 20% of the apprentice’s time will be off the job learning. Course teams need to be staffed by tutors who are confident to work with the learner through dialogue and a reflective approach. The learning path should be responsive to the situation of the learner and their progress. Apprenticeships are all about knowledge, skills and behaviour – very much applied learning!
