The University English scheme Blackboard site includes a wide range of resources for students who want to develop their academic English across a variety of different formats.
For enrolment on this Blackboard site, simply access the university website: http://shuspace.shu.ac.uk. Search for “University English Scheme, follow the information on the first page, click on the “enrol” button and then “submit”.

We also offer a range of Masterclasses. These stand-alone sessions are open to all, but will be of particular interest to students returning to study or from outside the UK. Session topics include critical reading and writing, effective paraphrasing and referencing, and proofreading strategies. View these here.
