During the pandemic he has spent part of his time supporting NHS staff wellbeing, alongside delivering group and individual therapies for patients who have physical and mental health problems. His research focusses on enhancing the effectiveness of psychological therapies. He has run similar successful sessions for his hospital trust and beyond.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Attendees were encouraged, through interactive sessions, to work through some of the key evidence-based ideas for improved wellbeing alongside fun ways of putting them into practice routinely.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\"><strong>Telling your story: recognising your success &#8211; 19th November 2020<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\">This online event, hosted jointly between the NTF Teaching Excellence Network and the Senior\/Principal Fellow Forum, welcomed Sally Bradley, Senior Adviser at Advance HE for an inspirational and insightful session which was well attended.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\">Attendees were encouraged to reflect on their strengths and achievements and how they could be used to achieve professional recognition, such as Senior Fellow, Principal Fellow or to help <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\">develop applications for National Teaching Fellowships or the Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence. Those who had already achieved these were asked to think about how they could use their experience to mentor colleagues.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\"><strong>Network launch event &#8211; 11th June 2019 <\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\">Current and aspiring NTFs, inspirational teachers and colleagues interested in teaching excellence at Sheffield Hallam University were welcomed to the network launch event.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\">The event focused on gathering and presenting evidence for a National Teaching Fellowship claim.
