We try to recruit all Course Reps within the first 3 weeks of the start of the course, in any given academic year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\">Students who are interested in being a Course Rep can visit the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hallamstudentsunion.com\/representation\/academicinterests\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Students\u2019 Union website<\/a>\u00a0to register their interest and receive further information. Students on one-year courses and first-year students can still be recruited at the start of the year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\">The second round of recruitment usually takes place between the end of September and middle of October.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\">Further information on timing is available on the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hallamstudentsunion.com\/representation\/academicinterests\/departmentreps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Students\u2019 Union website<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"bg_faq_content_section\" data-foldup=\"no\">\n<h3 class=\"bg_faq_closed\" data-foldupq=\"no\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\"><strong>Recruitment process<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\">Recruitment is facilitated by the students\u2019 union, in partnership with colleges and departments.\u00a0 \u00a0All students wishing to apply to be a Department Rep need to follow an application process which is available through the students\u2019 union website.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\">Existing Course Reps and those with comparable experience may wish to apply.
