Money worries

These days, coming to university to study can seem an expensive decision. We understand the additional pressures many students face because of financial worries. Be assured, there is plenty of advice out there for students.

Where to get advice

You can visit any Hallam Help point at SHU to make sure you are receiving all the funding you’re entitled to or to request further support. You can telephone the team on 0114 225 2222 or email hallamhelp@shu.ac.uk.

The Student Union Advice Centre can give you advice on budgeting and managing your money. Call into the Advice Centre in the HUBS or phone them on 0114 225 4148.

If you are an international student and are having financial difficulties, come and speak to an international student adviser at Student Services on Level 5 of the Owen building.
