Money Skills

Need to improve your money skills?  We’re all about helping you get the skills across three key areas: budgeting, increasing income, and reducing spending. Our aim is to help you enjoy university free of worrying how you will afford your next food shop.

We’re really keen to hear from you about how you manage your money, any tips you might have, or if you’d like to get involved in the project. If you’re interested and can’t find what you need below, get in touch with us.

What do we offer?

We offer all of the following:

  • A self-assessment tool to help you work out where your money skills are at currently, and how you might aim to improve them
  • A series of one-hour workshops designed to be accessible, fun and interactive for you to come along and improve your skills
  • One to one support appointments for students who have specific areas of money skills they really want to develop
  • Fun, interactive Money Skills events
How do I access it?

Our suggested first step is to complete the Money Skills Assessment tool on UniHub.  In just a few questions, you can assess your current money skills and we’ll send you an email suggesting your best next step! Make sure you click submit at the end.
