Please see below for two different opportunities to contribute to research being undertaken at the University of Sheffield.
Invitation to complete online survey: pathways to university for student care leavers (£150 Amazon voucher prize draw)
We are a research team at the University of Sheffield, and as part of a project funded by the Leverhulme Trust, we are asking students with care experience to complete a short online, confidential survey. We would like to understand more about your journey to university, and what you feel universities and local authorities could do to better support care leavers.
There is opportunity at the end of the survey to enter a prize draw to win a £150 Amazon voucher.

Invitation to take part in research project ‘Higher education choices of care leavers and estranged students.’
You are invited to take part in a research project on the higher education choices of students who have experienced being in care and/or self-identify as being estranged from their parents. The project aims to increase understanding of the barriers to higher education they may face. For information on the aims of this research and what participation entails, please see the below information sheet, interview/focus group guide and consent form.
