Residential Wellbeing Mentors will be supporting students at Charlotte Court and Bramall Court from September 2017 – June 2018!
What are Residential Wellbeing Mentors?
Residential Wellbeing Mentors will live on site at Charlotte Court and Bramall Court and are there to support the wellbeing and welfare of students living in these halls. They will assist the halls’ staff on site, and work collaboratively with the University’s student services to provide wellbeing and welfare mentoring in the halls.
What kind of things will they do?
Here’s a taster of some of the things mentors will be doing in Charlotte and Bramall Court:
- Meeting and greeting new residents
- Organising and deliver activities for students in the hall of residence
- Providing support to residents with enquiries or when experiencing difficulties and helping them to access relevant services
- Providing one-to-one mentoring
