About: British consumer finance information and discussion website founded by financial journalist Martin Lewis in February 2003 with the aim of providing information and journalistic articles enabling people to save money.
What we like: Latest deals and top deal pages.
The Student Room
About: The student room is a Forum where students can share academic and social knowledge and experience.
What we like: Accessibility to discuss any topic with other students and really useful Student Finance England guides
Blackbullion
About: Sheffield Hallam has a subscription with Blackbullion so it is free to use if you sign using your SHU email address. Blackbullion is a web-based modular program covering the key fundamental elements of money management.
What we like: Flexible and accessible online learning which allows you to gain knowledge without fear of embarrassment. Also studies show that students are more likely to remember something learned online!
