We know that around a third of all Sheffield Hallam students are classed as mature students and that they bring with them a whole range of experience and skills which prepare them for academic study, such as industry experience, organisational and people skills.

We’re looking to draw on this wealth of experience and to give new mature students the opportunity to learn from their peers through our mature student discussion groups.

These are informal sessions designed to allow students to share their own experiences and to learn from other mature students studying at University.
