Useful finance sites…money advice and discounts can be found at:

• Financial support – SHU’s Student Financial Support team can advise on financial matters for students. You can also access Blackbullion, an online money management tool
• Travel – if you are over 25 and in full-time study, you are eligible for a railcard which gives you one third off many rail fares www.16-25railcard.co.uk. If you are travelling with your kids, you can get a Family & Friends railcard which gives your discounts on rail travel for you and your family
• Discounts – NUS Extra card is available to all students and gives discounts on bus travel and many goods and services, including 10% off at the Co-op!
• You can also get great money saving tips at MoneysavingExpert.com website
