What is the Facilities Directorate? Over to Lee Mansell, Residential Support Co-ordinator…

The Facilities Directorate is the part of the Uni that looks after all the Facilities Management services across the University including portering, security, reception staff, domestic staff and campus estates and maintenance services.

We also look after the commercial services at SHU – Accommodation Services and residential support, the Print Shop, Hallam Active, merchandise sales, Catering Services and the Events team.

What does the Facilities Directorate have to do with the student experience?

The experience of our students is key to the Facilities Directorate operations and we welcome and actively seek the ideas, thoughts and feedback from everyone who use our services.

Browzer is a big part of our ongoing plans to communicate to you, so we hope you like it!
