The Learning Centres at SHU are asking students to tell them which books you would like to help with your studies – whether it’s a book you think we need in the collection, one recommended by an academic member of staff, or just because you don’t think we have enough copies.

Over the next three Mondays you can send your suggestions for books you’d like to help you with your studies.

The initiative started on Monday 9th March and the next dates are Monday 16th, 23rd, 30th March.

There’ll be £10,000 per week (overall total £40,000) available; just say why the book is needed. An e-book will be purchased for each book requested if it exists. They will buy more copies of a book that is already in stock if you think we need more and…the books will be made available as quickly as possible!
