The next Gardening Club workshop will be taking place tomorrow, February 10, between 10am and 4pm and you are invited to come down and get involved!

This will be a hands-on session to build the raised beds with a member of GrowSheffield helping out so don’t worry if you don’t know what to do!  The lovely people at Spear & Jackson have very generously provided the University with some shiny new tools so you don’t have to bring anything along with you.  It is just recommended that you wear warm clothes and suitable footwear.  And don’t worry if the weather is bad on the day as work can be done indoors in the greenhouse.

Feel free to come and go as and when you like, ideally a 2 hour commitment would be preferred but we understand that this may not be an option for everyone. The session will take place at the Collegiate greenhouse, to the left of Mundella House.

The session will be catered for in appreciation of your hard work, with some lovely warm broth (vegetarian option available) between 12am – 2:30pm and tea/coffee and biscuits throughout the day!

If you’re interested in attending the session, please contact Adam Caspi on a.caspi@shu.ac.uk.
