Get your jumpers out… because on Friday 12 December, the University is encouraging students and staff to wear their woolly jumpers to uni again!
Following 2013, when over 350 people took part in Woolly Pulley day, SHU once again wants to highlight the need to reduce energy usage and costs both at home and at work, by suggesting that we all wear an extra layer before we think about turning the heating up. And because of the time of year, Christmas jumpers will not only be welcome – but actively encouraged!
There will be eco-friendly prizes available from the sustainability team, in a range of categories including Best Homemade Jumper and Most Embarrassing Christmas Jumper for those who are brave enough to post pictures of them and their team in their jumpers on our Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/shupassiton
Save the Children are using this day as a fundraiser and if you want to donate as part of the day, you can do so by texting TEAMSHU1 to this number: 70050 to donate £2.00
Please help us and spread the word to your local area and get as many people as possible involved.
