Time to Change is England’s biggest programme to challenge mental health stigma and discrimination and is led by Mind and Rethink, two leading mental health organisations.
Sheffield Hallam University and Sheffield Hallam Students’ Union are proud to be signing the Time to Change Pledge on Wednesday 8th October. The event starts at 3.30pm and features a keynote speech from Helen Robinson (Sheffield Mind), entertainment and refreshments, as well as the signing of the Pledge by the Deputy Vice Chancellor Professor Liz Barnes. A separate Time to Change Pledge will be signed by representatives from the Students’ Union, including the President of the Students’ Union.
We would love to see some Sheffield Hallam students at the event! Places are limited so sign up here if you’d definitely like to come and show your support. If you find the event is fully booked, please email student.wellbeing@shu.ac.uk for more information about the Pledge or to find out about other events.
NB This is an invitation for students. If you are SHU staff please feel free to contact us to find out more about the event or the Pledge and please promote the event to students.
