At SHU, mothers can breastfeed wherever they feel comfortable, or can, if they prefer, request a private room (by asking at any of our helpdesks, reception areas or cafes).

Breastfeeding offers health benefits for both mothers and babies, and many of our students have families, so we are very happy to help lead the way in Sheffield as part of this initiative to support and give choices to breastfeeding mothers and their babies.
