Here’s our final instalment from Tania Clayton from the Students’ Union…

It was the last day of the Students’ Union on Tour today but our week is far from over, as tomorrow is the Get Involved Fair in the HUBS (We have been coming to you all week and now it’s your turn to come to us!). The Get Involved Fair is your opportunity to hear all about what’s available for you at the Students’ Union from the Sports Clubs and Societies you can join, the community projects you can volunteer in and the free training and skills development workshops you can attend. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the new Students’ Union brand journey and pick up freebies with the new Students’ Union logo on!

And if that’s not enough there will be national companies in attendance giving away freebies, including a certain fast food chain giving away free pizza! You don’t want to miss out!

After the Get Involved Fair there is the Society Variety Show, a talent showcase by the Students’ Union Societies with performances by Arts Innovation and Media (AIM), Folk Music, Salsa, Circus Hallam and Harmonies. Tickets are only £1 with all proceeds going to RAG. Plus you get free popcorn – a perfect way to spend a Friday evening.
