January 27 is Holocaust Memorial Day in the UK. Here at Sheffield Hallam we will be marking the occasion with two events.

On Monday January 27, kindertransportee Steve Mendelsson will be sharing with us the story of his journey to flee the Nazi horror. This will take place at Collegiate Campus (Willow Court R005), from 4pm-5.30pm.

On Monday January 27 and Tuesday January 28 there will be an exhibition at City Campus on Level 2 of the Atrium (Owen Building) running from 9am-5pm. This tells the story of journeys undertaken by survivors of the Holocaust and subsequent genocides.
