Evaluation and Course Enhancement

We are fast approaching that time of the year where academics are asked to participate in formal institutional quality processes and evaluate their courses or modules. These processes can be challenging to engage with especially at the end of a busy and usual academic year. That is why STEER has been working on several resources that can help staff recognise evaluative moments and develop an evaluative mindset as they work to enhance their courses and the student experience.

This short video on Evaluation and Course Enhancement will help staff understand what they need to consider when starting a course evaluation, it also introduces how theories of change can be used for enhancement and aligned with the Hallam Model. There is also an accompanying worksheet that staff can you use to develop their own theory of change for their course.

You can find more videos on evaluation at Your Evaluative Mindset.
