Sheffield Hallam were runners up in the recent Guardian University Awards, for ‘retention, support and student outcomes’.  See more about the achievement here.

 

26 runners made up of staff, students and alumni took part in the Sheffield Half Marathon on 14 April to raise funds or the Hallam Fund. You can still donate to support the fund here. 

 

Sheffield Hallam is aiming to be a smoke free university as part of the Smoke free Sheffield commitment. You can take part in this survey to provide some insights into current smoking behaviour at the University and how we can create a pleasant, smoke-free environment for everyone. See here for more information about the initiative.

The University will be showing this advertisement in cinemas across key target regions until 27 June. It is part of an awareness campaign targeting prospective students and influencers at the beginning of the 2020 recruitment journey and will run alongside the nationwide promotion of Sheffield Makes video on social digital channels                                                                                over the next 6 months.

The University will be starting a course from September called The Hallam Academic Award (HAP) which has been designed to provide development opportunities in research, teaching and professional & business engagement. Applications are now being taken and anyone interested should speak to their Head of Department before applying.
