University News: August

2019 NSS Results

The Annual National Student Survey (NSS) results were released yesterday and we have received our highest ever overall student satisfaction rate, with 86.48% of our students being satisfied with the quality of their course. This result was driven by very strong performance and improvement in a number of priority areas including quality of teaching, assessment and feedback, academic support and student voice. You can access the NSS Headline Report here.

Academic Organisation Project update

Consultation on proposed changes to faculty organisation and cross-University leadership structures was opened on 30 May. Following this, a detailed response to feedback document has now been shared, which summarises the feedback received and sets out what the next steps of work will be. The document also includes further detail on the three Colleges model which is now proposed to be implemented in 2019/20. You can view the response to feedback document on the AOP intranet site.
