So very pleased and proud of this achievement! The PgCert Teaching in HE course team and I have the great privilege of observing our academics teach all over the university, and this award is testament to all the fantastic practice that we see. Brilliant news!

Developing the University’s Connections with Professional Practice

Last academic year saw the launch of a new, University-wide Connecting with Professional Practice Conference. This joint initiative was led by members of both the Professional Practice Foundation and Hallam Pracademia. At the event, colleagues from across the University and external organisations showcased some of their collaborative work which involved an excellent range of teaching and learning, research and employability opportunities.

The event also included a call for bids for an associated seedcorn funding stream to help springboard future collaborative work with external organisations.
