SSH NSS results

Following the Vice-Chancellor’s e-mail last week regarding the University’s NNS scores we would like to thank all SSH staff for their commitment this year to delivering an excellent student experience.  Hallam’s overall student satisfaction rate is at its highest ever level: with 86.48% of our students satisfied with the quality of their course.  This is reflection of the excellent quality of teaching, learning and support that our students receive from both our academic and professional services staff here in the Faculty and we would like to thank all colleagues who have contributed to this successful outcome.

The NSS is an important survey that focuses on the experience of our students. As well as gaining insights into their experience of learning and teaching, organisation and resources, it allows us to identify areas where we are doing well and where improvements are needed.  It also benchmarks our programmes against other institutions helping us make changes that will improve the experience for future students.  Further detailed data is available on The Source.

Once again thank you to everyone for your hard work and commitment in delivering this excellent result.

Professor Chris Wiggington (Pro Vice-Chancellor and Dean)

Professor John Francis (Deputy Dean)
