Twinkl, the online educational resource site supported by the government, recently published two pieces by two current BA Primary Education undergraduates. Atifa Ali wrote about how to ‘overcome maths anxiety in one simple method’ and Laura Parkes spoke about ‘why English should be more creative and less prescriptive’ in her post.


South Yorkshire Futures launch Talent Bank website

Building on the launch of the South Yorkshire Talent Bank by Sheffield City Region Mayor Dan Jarvis, South Yorkshire Futures has created a website to simplify the way you can engage in high-quality volunteering opportunities in schools, colleges and training providers across South                                                                                     Yorkshire.

Through the Staff Volunteering Policy, you can now take 1 day a year to volunteer in your community. Additional leave is also available for those volunteering in a school/college governor role.
