Architecture degree show 2019
The 2019 architecture degree show kicked off with a private preview on Thursday 13 June and ran until the 27. The exhibition had lots of visitors who came to see the innovative designs and models displayed by the final year students.
It was a great opportunity for the wider university, general public and stakeholders in the industry to see the hard work the students have been doing and the impact of the great teaching taking place in the department.
VC Sir Chris Husbands gave some really positive feedback following his visit:
“The architectural models are simply a delight, characterised by attention to detail, imaginative conception and clarity of execution.”
“The use of advanced technology in design and planning is now exceptionally sophisticated, and allows students to produce architectural plans of exquisite beauty”
